In Awe of You

At Illuminate we believe deeply in awe.

And we don’t throw the term around casually, so please know we’re serious when we say that we’re in awe of the extraordinary community that surrounds us, that guides us, and that fuels us.

Illuminate consists of two full-time staff: Ben and David, plus a handful of part time consultants. That’s it. Yet, thanks to your dedicated support, our footprint of free and open public art extends across the city:

And music venues throughout the city.

We rely entirely on an extraordinary network of volunteers, partners, and donors – which means you. Your commitment stokes our creativity and purpose, allowing Illuminate to create city-wide works of wonder.

And our work continues: We are thrillingly preparing for the return of The Bay Lights by Spring 2026!
