🎷 Join us on Saturday, June 1st, as a myriad of jazz, funk, and hip hop fills the square at Golden Gate Park’s Bandshell! Certified crowd-movers Knowpa Slaps, EMCEE Radioactive, Rojai and the Pocket, and the Howard Wiley Band are coming out to play for the people!

MEET THE ARTISTS:

🎷 Howard Wiley Band, the “most prodigious Bay Area saxophonist of his generation” (Berkeleyside) has toured internationally, recorded and performed with artists including Miss Lauryn Hill, Sheila E, Cory Henry, Christian McBride, Chester Thompson and more. He is a Founding member of the new Bay Area collective BLACK LONDON, who are currently performing in and around Northern California.

🎙️ Rojai and the Pocket: Where funk meets soul and love meets grit, the powerful vocal stylings of Jairo Vargas, aka Rojai (Row-Juh), merge elements to produce a raw soulful sound as distinct and unique as the San Francisco streets that bred him.

🎤 EMCEE Radioactive: Originating from Boston, MA, Radio Active embodies the essence of hip hop. He is an emcee, beatboxer, writer, painter, and b-boy. Innovative to the industry, Radio Active brings hip hop into other genres, a true crossover artist.

💿 & who could forget Bay Area certified VETERAN Knowpa Slaps!
