LIGHTRAIL will extend the energy of The Bay Lights into the heart of San Francisco. It will seamlessly connect the entire length of Market Street, crossing socio-economic divides. It will celebrate the 40th anniversary of BART and 100th anniversary of MUNI, which together transport over 300,000 riders daily.
