Healing Gems
Healing Gems are an unconventional and offbeat bunch. Within the dynamics of this 6 piece group, it’s difficult to pinpoint where their sounds begin as they glide and sway from genre to genre. They reimagine music spanning from overlooked exotica, lounge, international jazz, soundchips of old video games, and kitschy cinematic soundtracks; creating their own melting pot of sound. Healing Gems are a peculiar and curious melody that creates nostalgic landscapes for drifters and dreamers alike. Grab a drink and enjoy the trip.

San Cha
By subverting the tropes of popular culture from her Mexican roots to create a sound that’s uniquely hers, SAN CHA continues to make an impact on the music world. She channels a wave of cultures to beautifully collide in a mix of genres. As eclectic in sound as she is in emotion and storytelling – she’s at times haunting and full of ache but quickly thereafter an unstoppable dance force. San Cha will premiere ASUNCIÓN, a new telenovela opera based on her concept album “La Luz de la Esperanza” (2019) as part of Long Beach Opera’s programming for the summer of 2024. In 2023 San Cha released a series of singles called “Processions” that transcended the sounds of Rancheras, electronic and dance – these will be re-released as a cassette in partnership with Ballroom Marfa in late 2024. Additionally, in 2023, she released two music videos for her singles “White Magic” and “Deja Que el Mundo se Prenda.”

Before this, San Cha first put out demos under the title “Me Demandó” in 2016, followed by her EP, “Capricho del Diablo.” During this time Red Bull took notice and invited her to perform and kickoff the 2019 edition of Red Bull Music Festival Los Angeles where she presented an original stage performance called “La Luz De La Esperanza.” Following the Red Bull Music Festival, San Cha released the album, “La Luz de la Esperanza” to critical acclaim – Pitchfork called it awork of art that took her entire life to make, the synthesis of years of struggle and growth, a style forged on the ranches of Jalisco and in the queer clubs of San Francisco.”

The Advocate named San Cha one of 2020’s Women Of The Year and said “La Luz De La Esperanza,” “celebrates the musician’s journey from cultural oppression and domestic violence to a flourishing freedom as a queer woman of color.” San Cha has also been featured in SPIN Magazine, LA Times, Them, Remezcla, I-D Magazine, Paper Magazine, and Dazed. She has performed at prestigious venues such as The Music Center, The Getty, The Ford Theater, Hauser & Wirth, Vibiana Cathedral, among others.
