But here’s what we believe, deeply:

Each year, Illuminate’s work touches more than 20 million residents and visitors, day and night. From The Bay Lights (returning this March), to WELCOME, the Pride Lasers over Market Street; from The Golden Mile in Golden Gate Park, to the revival of the Golden Gate Bandshell, where we’ve hosted 800+ free live concerts since COVID, and through a growing slate of visionary projects now in development.
All of it is free.
All of it is public.
All of it is built on generosity.
Illuminate exists to help San Francisco live into its global possibility – to help this city fulfill its destiny by choosing beauty, imagination, and citizen-led civic life.
